by KENNETH ANDERSEN
2nd edition, 431 pages, $25.95
ISBN 978-0-89641-117-6
This text
is designed primarily for introductory and second level courses
in Persuasion Theory. While the presentation incorporates contemporary
empirical finding, it nevertheless makes full use of the more
traditional rhetorical approaches, blending the traditional and
contemporary and making it acceptable to a wide range of teaching
methods and orientations. The book gives practical help to the
student and provides the theoretical framework which avoids lists
and rules. Discussion questions and suggested projects are included
at the end of each chapter.
