This text
is one of a series of activity texts emphasizing an individualized

the Authors
Dewayne
J. Johnson is Professor in the Department of Movement
Science and Physical Education at Florida State University in
Tallahassee. Before coming to Florida State, Dewayne taught for
four years at George Peabody College in Nashville. He received
his B.S. from Southern State College in South Dakota, his M.P.E.
from Idaho State University, and his Ph.D. from Texas A&M
University.
Joey
Haines teaches Health and Physical Education at Southeast
Missouri State University in Cape Gerardeau, Missouri. Previously
he taught at David Lipscomb College in Nashville, Tennessee.
