The Tao of
Teaching is a simple, effective approach to teaching. The book
focuses on the teacher, the message and the image and presentation.
No particular teaching style is stressed as the book emphasizes
a personal style for each teacher. Opinions are formed by the
way (tao) the message is presented. Personality, energy, interest,
enthusiasm, sense of humor, mannerisms and even appearance will
greatly influence students' learning and their desire to learn.
The image will motivate the students. Teaching and learning are
fun, humorous and exciting. The Tao of Teaching uses this approach
to help the teacher bring learning to life.
