WHAT IS THE INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF SPORT MANAGEMENT?

The International Journal of Sport Management serves professionals in the fields of sport and recreation management as well as athletic administrations. Its international scope and the breadth of its articles represent the complete spectrum of all these. Scholars as well as practitioners have an opportunity to contribute to the body of knowledge relating to sport, recreation, competitive athletics, as well as fitness and wellness programs.

INTRODUCING TWO ANNUAL AWARDS

The International Journal of Sport Management is annually recognizing a number of scholars who provide outstanding constructive collegial, and time reviews that help maintain the high standards of the journal. We acknowledge five recipients of the 2023 Outstanding Reviewer Award.

The IJSM is also introducing the 2023 Best Article Award. This award recognizes an article published in the journal that makes an especially novel or imactful contribution to the sport management literature. We congratulate the 2023 award recipients for their artile "Measuring Identification with a Sport Team: An Empirical Comparison of the Sport Team Identification Scale with the Sport Spectator Identification" published in Volume 24 Number 2, June 2023.

The Journal also recognizes two professors who have served as excellent guest reviewers.
